Cherry peppers are always my favorite chili pepper, they are cute and colorful. In this case, you can add a nice dish during the dinner. Cheery pepper always have a nice little kick, but aren't too spicy. They are also perfectly shaped for stuffing and perfectly sized for appetizers, so these can be a popular choice for your next party. A single stuffed cherry pepper can be finished in just a couple of bites.
Ingredients
- 1 small avocado
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- Pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon fresh lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning or chili powder
- 6 cherry peppers
Cooking Directions
- Slice the tops off the cherry peppers and set aside. Core the peppers, ensuring not to pierce the outer skin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
- Spoon your mixture into the hollowed out cherry peppers.
- Top with your sliced-off tops and serve!
